Born in Colombia and raised in New Jersey, Juan Echeverry has always been driven by a passion for communication, leadership, and meaningful impact. After studying Communications at Raritan Valley Community College, he began his professional journey in the banking industry—where he gained firsthand experience in customer relations, financial structure, and team dynamics.
While he found success in banking, Juan craved more than just numbers and transactions. He wanted to be part of something that prioritized growth, empowered others, and created lasting change. That desire, combined with his love for mentorship and development, inspired him to launch Merivance in 2024.
Since founding the company on June 22, 2024, Juan has cultivated a team-first culture focused on leadership, opportunity, and personal transformation. “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care” is the quote he lives by—and it’s a value deeply embedded in Merivance’s mission. Whether he’s swimming, spending time at the arcade, or motivating his team, Juan’s dedication to growth—both personal and professional—continues to shape the future of Merivance every day.

Originally from Goochland, Virginia, Jonathon brings a dynamic blend of business knowledge and personal passion to his role as Corporate Trainer. He holds an Associate’s degree in Business Management from Averett University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Marketing Science with a minor in Accounting.
Outside of work, Jonathon is an avid fisherman and a big gamer, enjoying titles like 2K and Madden. Since joining the company in May, he’s been driven by his favorite motto: “Never Hungry, Always Starving,” reflecting his relentless hunger for growth and success.
Jonathon’s credentials include Microsoft Excel certification, a spot on the Dean’s List, and experience as a college football athlete. What inspires him most about his job is the freedom to be authentic while helping others grow through meaningful networking and development opportunities.
He is guided by strong values—sustainability, faith, and knowledge—that shape his approach both professionally and personally.

Joao Farinhas is originally from Woodbridge, New Jersey. He studied Marketing at Felician University, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List and served as a Resident Life Assistant. Joao joined the company on December 1st, 2024, and quickly became a valued member of the team.
Outside of work, Joao enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing video games, and going on vacations. He appreciates the company for its growth opportunities and the supportive, positive environment created by the people around him.
What inspires Joao most in his role is the ability to solve problems for those who need it most. Guided by his core values—faith, health, family, and love—he approaches every challenge with dedication and care. His favorite quote reflects his work ethic and resilience: “Everybody wants to eat, but not everybody can deal with the stomach aches.”
